29.10.2014, the delegation of the OSCE Office in Tajikistan for Democracy and Human Rights under the guidance of senior advisor for Elections Richard Lappin visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, as the delegation included Alexei Gromov Election Adviser OSCE Office in Tajikistan and Maria Chepourin responsible Programs Congress parliamentary OSCE in Tajikistan.

At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan welcomed the guests and noted between the Tajik Ministry of Interior and the OSCE in Tajikistan has established mutually beneficial cooperation, including on police reforms.
Senior Election Adviser of the OSCE in Tajikistan Richard Lappin, in turn, noted that the purpose of his visit to Dushanbe is the assessment of pre-election situation and the country's preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Umarzoda Ikrom Islom thanked for joint cooperation.
