
On 26.04.2017, the head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, colonel of militia Abdullozoda Zumrad met with representatives of the international organization for migration in Tajikistan, Bahrom Rahmatjonov and national local expert Alisher Yorboboev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of identifying the vulnerability, the security of migrants, the need for the reintegration of migrants returning to their homeland and other topical issues.


Head of the International Cooperation Department Abdullozoda Zumrad noted that within the framework of the Memorandum signed by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the IOM on February 15, 2006, good mutually beneficial cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and this international organization in the direction of supporting migrant workers, preventing crime, the prevention of citizens to terrorist and extremist groups was done by a certain work. With the support of the organization of employees of law enforcement bodies took part in several conferences and seminars, studied the experience of other countries.
Representatives of the International Organization for Migration, in turn, expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of protecting the rights of labor migrants, and noted that their organization is ready to further expand bilateral cooperation.


The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding.
