On October 3, 2017, in the hall of the local executive authority of Ishkashim district, with the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Major-General of the Militia Alamshozoda Abdurahmon Alamsho, Deputy Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the GBAO Shodihon Jamshed, Deputy Chairman of the State National Security Committee Colonel Nusratullo Mirzoev Prosecutor of GBAO Advisor of Justice of the first degree Asozoda D., Head of the Agency for Financial Control and Fight against Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in GBAO, justice of Navruzzoda A., chairman of Ishkashim district of Samadzoda Zikrikhudo and other head of law enforcement agencies met with the activists and residents of Ishkashim district.
At the meeting with the residents of Ishkashim district, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Major-General of the Militia Alamshozod Abdurahmon Alamsho explained the purpose, content and essence of introducing changes and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the regulation of traditions, celebrations and ceremonies in the Republic", the Code on Administrative Violations and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan and demanded from the leadership of the power structures of the region to ensure compliance with the requirements of this law to residents of the region.
In addition, the First Deputy Minister of the Interior, at a meeting with residents, analyzed the level of crime in the Ishkashim district, discussed the rule of law, stability in the country, protection of the state border, prevention and adherence of youth to terrorist and extremist groups, combating crime, drug trafficking and regulation of traffic in the Ishkashim district.
He noted that GBAO borders on Afghanistan with a length of 910 km, an unsettled situation and regular conflicts demand from the public political vigilance, along with the power structures of GBAO to contribute to the security and protection of public order, to educate youth in the spirit of patriotism, to direct their efforts in prevention of youth adherence to extremist trends and organizations.
