As part of the implementation of the Strategy and the "Programme on police reform in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2014-2020" by bodies of internal affairs of Sughd region was made a number of additional Plan of Action, on the initiative of the internal affairs bodies introduced new ways of working in the operational activity.
Thus, the management of internal affairs of Sughd region on a monthly basis are going to take stock of the activities. This initiative aims to regularly control the crime situation in the region.
To this end, in the building of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sughd region held a meeting on the results of work of police officers for the period of January 2017 and the execution of instructions contained in the next address to parliament of the country, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Board of solutions in the field of crime prevention and disclosure of administrative practices and countering corruption crimes and crime prevention of juvenile delinquency and youth. This meeting was attended by the heads of department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, OMVD cities and districts and other units of the Ministry of Interior in Sughd region.
The meeting was opened by Head of Department Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sughd region major-general of militia Nazarzoda Sharif Rahmon and noted that on the initiative of the Founder of peace and national unity in 2017 declared the Year of Youth in particular, it was said to make every effort to prevent crime among young people and strengthen the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
The meeting was also reported management of operational and investigative services, protection of public order, services to prevent juvenile and youth delinquency, and other relevant departments.
At the conclusion of the responsible persons were given instructions to intensify the fight against crime, terrorism, extremism, the disclosure of crimes of past years, seizures of illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, prevention of corruption and other tasks.
