Taking into account, that on the proposal of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon 2017 was declared the Year of youth – Department Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sughd region in the Palace of Rudaki, Khujand organized a meeting with students and teaching staff of Khudjand State University named after Academician B. Gafurov.
The event was attended by about 600 students, active members of the group "Avant-garde" and teachers.
Meeting was opened by the chief of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sughd region major-general of militia Nazarzoda Rahmon Sharif and expressed, satisfaction for mutually beneficial cooperation with universities students administration bodies of internal affairs of Sughd region for active participation in the prevention of crime and improve legal education of youth.
Sharif Nazarzoda emphasizing the educational activities of KSU named after Academician B.Gafurov, noted the contribution made by this university in the training of highly qualified specialists that are currently more than 200 alumni of the university continue their work in responsible positions in the internal affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, also called on students and active young people actively participate in all events dedicated to 2017-the Year of youth.
In the course of the event a number of active students and young teachers of KSU named after Academician B. Gafurov, who are in close cooperation with the police in a solemn ceremony were awarded by the leadership of Ministry of Internal Affairs the Sughd region, with Thanks and memorable gifts.
In the second part of the meeting was an open conversation with students and staff of the internal affairs bodies.
At the end of the meeting was made speech by the rector of KSU Anvar Maksudi and he thanked the leadership of Internal Affairs for close cooperation and gave the recently published book of the University to Chief of DMIA of Sughd region.
