17.02.2017, in the conference hall of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the participation of personnel of the departments of the Central Office of the Ministry of Interior, DMIA in Dushanbe and other units of the internal affairs authorities held a session on the theme "Preventing and combating corruption."
In the service session was attended by representatives of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan: Deputy Chief of the Agency, Colonel of Justice Safarzoda Kudbiddin Shahobuddin and deputy chief of the 2nd Department of the Main Directorate for Prevention of Corruption Agency Colonel Justice Lashkarbekzoda Shodibek Lashkarbek.
The session opened by Deputy Minister of Interior major-general of militia Umarzoda Ikrom Islom, and introduced the guests to personnel of law-enforcement bodies.
It was noted that the Ministry of Interior as the subject of the fight against corruption, the implementation of the Republic of Tajikistan, Presidential Decree requirements from August 30, 2013 "Anti-Corruption Strategy in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2013-2020yy." was signed an order Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan №40 from 25 September 2014 "To counter corruption program for 2014-2020yy.", which was put into action.
A speech made by the Deputy Chief of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan Colonel of Justice Safarzoda Kudbiddin Shahobuddin, and noted that the commitment of the Republic of Tajikistan government, the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption and other law enforcement agencies in the fight against corruption, countering this negative phenomenon of society.
It was noted that, among the study population has recently been carried out by experts of the Agency, they understand the word corruption. Research has shown that most people refer to corruption only 5 articles of the Criminal Code Tajikistan (319, 320, 321, 324 and 325), while, as discussed article 51 of the Code of the concept of corruption.
Also, Colonel of Justice Kudbiddin Safarzoda stressed the level of corruption in different countries of the world, the fight against and prevention of this negative phenomenon.
He noted that corruption is an obstacle the development and prosperity of society, leading to a lower level of welfare of the people. If every citizen and entities to combat corruption will collectively fight against corruption, the risk of corruption in society will diminish.
A service session was held at a high level, the speakers answered the questions of the militia officers.
